Today marks the last day of work! I am currently having my semester break, so I decided to take a part time job in a company which distributes handphones called Avaxx. It's okay if you have never heard of this company before because I have only came to know it once I started working lol I totally deserve the best employee award. This was my first job and what I do was not even interesting. It was the pay that made me stayed or not I would not even want this job haha quite money minded ah I know.

Wow, look at dem eye bags and that unglamorous sleepy face yo. Those are the results of staring at the computer screen for eight hours every weekday! Haha okay I was lying for the sake of blaming it on work hehe. They are definitely caused by me sleeping late every night. Kids, please do not learn.

I am now celebrating the last day of work with a cup of caramel frappucino at Starbucks with my own salary woohoo. I already started spending although I just received my salary in less than 24 hours. Such a terrible spender I know. This does not even call for a need to celebrate but I am in a desperate need for self-pamper after eight hours of resting my butt on the chair in the office. Time just seemed to pass slower when you're not having fun.

In case you didn't know, this was the bottle that my classmates got for my birthday. They did not specifically choose this for me because I was patriotic okay it was because I love the color teal! Speaking about my classmates, I am starting to miss them already.

Must pose more with the bottle to prove to my classmates that I truly appreciate their gift and I'm putting it into a very good cause HAHAHA I am just giving myself more excuses to take selfies.

Ever since I started attending college, I have been reading more books. I stopped reading books since last year due to SPM, so now it is the time to compensate! Oh and about SPM, yes I have already received my results and I am proud to say that I got straight A's (5A+, 3A, 1A-)! This is truly not by my efforts alone but by God's blessings and also guidance from my teachers and friends. I could not have done this if it wasn't for my family as well who had always encouraged and believed in me throughout.

Some of the teachers who guided me to this road of success!

I cannot be more than proud of my girls who did really well too! Especially to Woo, the one who did the best (as always). Congratulations to every one who passed with flying colors or gotten the results they expected!

Anyway, I borrowed "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks and I got to admit it was a good read.

Fun fact: How do you know when Laura enjoys a book?

Answer: It is when she completes the book in less than a week! #laurawongachievements

Hahaha sorry for being so lame, the caffeine in this frappucino is making me a little hyper. Is it true that caffeine makes people hyper? Many people (or at least my friends) often like to blame caffeine as the cause of making them hyper.

But then again, this frappucino is cream based so....

How did I even get from book to caffeine. Back to the book! I got to admit that I loved the book. Even though the plot was pretty cliché, it was heart wrenching and touching as well. The book was about a boy who was in his youth, fell for a girl who he never thought he would. Jamie (the main character) was sweet and pleasing to the eyes of many parents but to the teens in her school, it was the opposite. Not exactly the opposite, but they think that she is weird and nobody really wanted to approach her due to her innocence. However, there was a twist in the plot where Lancon had feelings and eventually begin to love her. Things were going really well for them until Lancon found out about the truth that separated them at the end. I don't want to spoil the story for those who haven't read the book or watched the movie but...you know...

She died.

HEHEHE I AM SO SORRY.

I love how the author used so many verses from the Bible in his novel. It taught me that we can never expect what God plans are but it is the faith we need to have in order to make the best out of his plans. Although things may not seem right, it is up to us to decide on how to look at things at the end of the day. Also, I love Jamie's character in the book. She was always hungry for God's words and so tough on the inside. And how could anyone have such a soft and loving heart for people? I always wished I could bring myself to love people more than myself but it is hard. It is difficult to put someone's happiness before yours. I will keep trying though, because time might take away my loved ones before I know it.

I even borrowed another two more books to read next week. College is seriously making me more hardworking hahaha. I have never finished two novels within a week, so... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. If I blogged about these books in the near future, then they ARE good books.

I am so going to fail this challenge.
